Evaluator Qualities
- Avid interest in disability studies, disability history, and disability culture.
- Academic, professional and/or personal experience with the field of disability studies and fields that interact with disability studies such as health, social work, education, history, political science, fine arts, minority studies, literature and other such fields of study.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to objectively evaluate manuscripts for style, presentation, and contribution to the field of disability studies.
- Willingness to provide feedback to both experienced and new authors to improve their contribution, where appropriate, so that it is publishable.
